LVSA SPRING OPENING DAY - REC & REC-PLUS TEAMS

Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 - Opening Day Skills Clinic, Play Day & USSF Coaching Clinic for all age groups and coaches: This day is for players to get started on the learning and fun process. In addition, we will give parents the opportunity to start earning some volunteer hours by helping to prepare the fields at Lookout Valley Middle/High and at John A. Patten Rec Center. While players participate in the skills clinics or games, parents will attend a brief informational meeting with details about your child’s specific age group and an outline of the season.

Director of Coaching, Kris Ray will also run a coaching clinic along side the USSF Grass Courses host by LVSA. Please feel free to reach out to Mr. Ray at any point during the season for any help you may need to plan out training sessions for your team or any coaching.

As we get closer to the Saturday March 2nd date you will be sent an outline of just what this day will look like and where to report.

REGISTRATION DATES AND FEES

Rec Soccer Early Registration has been extended through Sunday, February 18th.

Late Registration will be open through 11:59 PM on Sunday , February 18th; however, a $10 late fee will be charged for registrations completed beginning at 12:00AM (Midnight) on Monday, February 19th.

COST

  • U4 (2020-2021)         $55

  • U6 (2019-2018)         $65

  • U8 (2017-2016)         $65

  • U10 (2015+) & Older     $75

Jerseys will be provided.  Black shorts, black socks, shin guards, a ball (size 3 for U4/6/8, Size 4 for U10/12, and Size 5 for U14+), and a water bottle are needed for the season.  The shorts and socks are for games only (any shorts and socks are acceptable for training).

The U4’s will not need Black Shorts and Socks, since they will not be playing a traditional style game.  They will practice/play on Saturdays, typically. Their practices are a progressive style lesson plan which will end in a game-like setting. Each practice lasts from 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the weather and the mood of the players. We are also looking into some extra programming for these little beasts.  More information to come.
